The famous armchair 1 Fauteuil dossier basculant of Cassina with structure in metal, designed in 1928 and exposed into the Salon d’Automne in Paris of 1929.

Today the 1 Fauteuil dossier basculant is included in the collection of designs of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. With a very simple appearance, it is defined by a linear, essential but solid structure, light in the forms, but very strong. It has an adjustable back that allows choosing the most comforting position.
